I have decided to make a switch from our normal meet and greet routine by planning a non-food related event. We're going BOWLING!  Please join us and show off your skills and techniques. Have a ton of fun and burn a few calories at the same time.  

              Did you know 1 hour of bowling burns 259 calories?

If you're early out from your procedure don't worry. There will be plenty of time to socialize and lounge with the group if you're not up to lifting the bowling balls yet.  We can cheer the others on from the sidelines.

*** If you are unsure about whether you can bowl yet, please call your surgeon and check to see how much weight you can lift.  Lifting heavy objects too soon post-op can be dangerous!

I don't think I will be able to make this one.  I just had my 2nd hernia repair on the 13th and am not even CLOSE to going out in public yet.  If something changes though, I will let y'all know.

We'll miss you this time!  I hope your healing is quick and pain-free. 
And if you're up to it and in need of a jaunt away from home, please come...I promise we won't make you bowl this soon.  But next time....

Sorry you can't make it. If you change your mind last minute, just come on... I won't be bowling either, so I'll keep you company on the sidelines.  We'll have fun watching everybody else being silly.

Ya'll have fun! I have to come into Atlanta for my 6 week with Dr. M on Thursday and there is no way I am making that drive twice in one week! Maybe someday I will get to come!

Sorryu you can't make it. It sucks you live so far from town.  I hope we can all plan something for the shbp members and you can make that one.   We need to plan a 1 year surgiversary the begining of next year to celebrate 1 year of having wls coverage.

I hope to attend but will have to let you know for sure later this week.

Hi LaShelle - How are you?  I think my DH and I will be able to make it.  I think my daughter has something else to do Saturday.  I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.
